MEASI ACADEMY OF ARCHITECTURE was established in 1999 within the New College Campus, completing 24 years now in the heart of Chennai city. The academy has the approval of the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The institute was headed by Prof. Dr. N. Altaf Ahmed, Director, with his team of highly qualified and experienced faculty from across India and abroad. The institute collaborated with Westminster University, London, U.K., on an international fabrication competition and the Latitude project from Columbia, Italy, the Maldives, the UK, and Brazil in the climate change forum with student and faculty interaction. The institute is collaborating with the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. The institute exudes an atmosphere of learning and also trains the students to be professionals with confidence through additional inputs in discipline and communication skills. It has thus established a reputation for producing professionals with all-around qualities. Our students have been placed in reputed firms in India and abroad and have also been associated with universities abroad for higher studies, besides being in practice.
